Artaj Singh,
BA MD MBA
CCFP ABUCM FAAUCM
Received his medical training at McMaster University. He is
President and Medical Director of Urgent Care Niagara. He has
over 20 years of experience in the healthcare, finance and
development fields within Canada, U.S. and internationally. His
clinical experience is in Emergency & Urgent Care Medicine,
Occupational Medicine and Primary Care. He has worked in and/or
traveled through 32 countries. He also serves as President and
Chairman of Initiative 360 - Take It Global, a Canadian charity
focused on helping the under privileged nations of the world.
His interests include flying high performance single engine
aircraft and traveling.
Judy Singh,
MD CCFP FCFP ABUCM
Trained at McMaster University
and achieved certification with the Canadian College of Family
Practice as well as the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine.
Enjoyed private family practice and emergency medicine in
Canada, then in the USA where she also preceptored clinical
training of medical and nursing students. Served as the Chief of
Pediatrics for Dearborn County Hospital. Enjoys outdoor sports,
gardening, hospitality and most importantly being a mom.
Tracy Dobson,
MD
She received her medical training at the University of Western
Ontario. She then returned to Niagara and worked in many family
practices from Fort Erie to Hamilton. For the past 7 years she
has also been working in Student Health Services at both Brock
University and Niagara College during the academic year. Her
interests include canoeing and kayaking.
Darrell Grant,
BSc MD
CCFP(EM)
Graduated from the University of Calgary and completed his
residency in family medicine at University of Alberta and
emergency medicine at McMaster University. He is also the
Medical Director of Student Health Services at Brock University.
Has interests in gardening and art glass.
Tom Mazzone,
BA MD ABEM FACEP
Graduated from University of
Buffalo Medical School. Board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Chief of emergency departments in U.S. and Canada for 28 years,
most recently at Greater Niagara General
Hospital. Founder of cardiac rehab, workplace health and county
paramedic programs New York State. Raced sled dogs for 20 years,
coached rowing team at University of Buffalo for
15 years. Has written 3 books on diet and weight
loss, a historical fiction book and is presently writing a book
comparing the U.S. and Canadian healthcare systems.
Altin Reka,
MD CCFP
Received his medical training at the Faculty of Medicine,
University of Tirana, Albania. He did his residency training at
the University of Toronto and certified with the Canadain
College of Family Physicians. Prior to joining UCN, he was an
emergency physician at the Welland General Hospital. His
interests include tennis.
Dave Turineck,
HBSc MB BCh BAO LRCS(I) LRSCP(I) FACEP
Is a American Board Certified
Specialist in Emergency Medicine and Assistant Professor of
Medicine at McMaster University. He was the former Chief of
Staff and Chief of Emergency Medicine at Greater Niagara General
Hospital. He trained at McGill University. Recently he has
expanded his love of cooking and is enrolled in the ProChef
certification of the Culinary Institute of America in New York
and is active in the "Les Marmitons" Chef organization at the
Niagara College Culinary Institute.
